Dr. Mohammad Khamis

Internal Medicine, Primary Care Physician

Dr. Mohammad Khamis is an internist at Northwest Medical and Urgent Care Center. He also serves as the practice’s CEO and President as well as the Director of Internal Medicine. Dr Khamis is also the president of the American Northwest University where he teaches medical students and residents. His main interest is in heart disease and diabetes. Also the president of American International Academy where he teaches and trains foreign physicians to be licensed doctors in the United States.

We are located on the north side of Chicago, and our building is equipped with new high-tech medical equipment and dozen of medical professionals who are passionate to provide you and your family quality, safe and effective medical care. We are fortunate to have available range of services at our medical center, and offer our patients an integrated approach to their overall care.

Dr. Hamada Yehya

Chiropractor and Sports Medicine Doctor

Dr. Hamada Yehya is a Chiropractic Physician and Certified Chiropractic Sports physician. He has practiced for over 10 years making differences in people’s lives. His inspiration comes from helping people reach their full capacity that they couldn’t imagine was possible. Every patient is unique and there is no such thing as routine low back pain. Every visit is unique and builds upon the next to reach the patient’s maximum potential. Dr. Yehya is well versed in various chiropractic techniques including: Diversified, Activator, Extremity Adjusting, Cox Flexion-Distraction, Trigger Point Therapy, Active Release Technique. The doctor also employs therapeutic stretches, teaches his patients in therapeutic exercises and trains proper posture. Other treatments include: Acupuncture, correcting structural differences with custom-fitted orthodontics, and other structural support using various taping methods. The doctor is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician where he is able to identify and treat sports related injuries and help athletes achieve higher levels of performance.The doctor is calling on all of those people who don’t believe their current condition can change. To all those athletes that are looking for that edge over their competition, or to all those who believe their arthritis has gotten the best of them. Dr. Victor Pelaez

Cardiologist

Dr. Pelaez graduated from University Nac Mayor Delaware San Marcos, Prog Acad Delaware Medicine Humana, Lima, Per with an MD 20 years ago. He had his residency training of Cardiovascular Diseases at Cook County Hospital and Critical Care Medicine-Internal Medicine at University Health Center Of Pittsburgh and Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital. Victor Manuel Pelaez specializes in Cardiology. A Cardiologist is a physician who specializes in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases of the heart and blood vessels. He or she may evaluate your medical history and symptoms or conduct tests to determine your risk for heart disease. These tests might include echocardiograms (an image of the heart), ECG or EKG readings (the rhythm of the heart), or cardiac catheterization (insertion of a small tube running to the heart to check its electrical firing or to relieve blockages). Dr. Sakis Bedikian

Orthopedic

Dr. Bedikian earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also completed an Osteopathic residency and Orthopedic Surgery internship. Additionally, he has completed an Adult Reconstruction fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Bedikian has published numerous orthopedic papers and received honors and awards including recognition for medical leadership, induction into academic honor societies and graduating summa cum laude from Wayne State University. He is professionally affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the Illinois Osteopathic Medical Society and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, among others.

Dr. Vishal Bhalani

Urologist

Dr. Bhalani specializes in genitourinary surgery. He is also a robotics trained surgeon, proficient in utilizing the new da Vinci robot at Weiss Memorial Hospital to offer patients facing urologic surgery many potential benefits over traditional open surgery. Benefits include significantly less pain and blood loss, fewer complications, a shorter hospital stay and quicker recovery. Outside of his practice, Dr. Bhalani received a prestigious academic scholarship to the University of Miami where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed an internship in General Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by a residency in Urology at Northwestern University. Dr. Bhalani is a member of the American Urological Association, North Central Section of AUA, and the Chicago Urological Society. He has published numerous journal articles on topics related to the treatment of prostate cancer, renal cell carcinoma, and kidney stones, as well as improving the techniques of robotic and minimally invasive surgery. His work has been presented at national and international conferences.Dr. Bhalani is a Urologist associated with Weiss Memorial Hospital, serving patients throughout Chicago.
